Kia Kia Syros EV
7 Variants · Starting from ₹13.50 Lakh
The Kia Syros EV, launched July 22 2026 from a starting price of around Rs 13.49 lakh, is Kia India's cheapest electric car and an electric version of the domestically built Syros compact SUV. It shares its 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh "Extended Range" (ER) battery pack options with the Carens Clavis EV, offered across 7 variants -- HTK, HTK+ and HTX on the 42 kWh pack, and HTK+ ER, HTX ER, HTX+ ER and X-Line ER on the 51.4 kWh ER pack. The earlier-flagged 443km/526km "discrepancy" is not actually a conflict: 443 km is the 42 kWh pack's own certified range and 526 km is the 51.4 kWh ER pack's, independently confirmed on Kia's own official showroom page. As Kia's most affordable EV, the Syros EV is positioned to compete with other budget-focused electric SUVs and hatchbacks, aiming to bring Kia's design language and features to price-sensitive Indian buyers who might otherwise only consider domestic-brand budget EVs. Its compact SUV body style sits below the MPV-shaped Carens Clavis EV in overall footprint but serves a similar value-focused segment of Kia's electric lineup, well below the larger, imported EV6 and EV9 in both price and positioning, giving Kia a genuine low end to its electric range for the first time.
