The Tata Harrier.ev was, until the arrival of the Sierra.ev, the flagship of Tata's electric car lineup, launched in June 2025 as an electric version of the brand's largest and most premium mid-size SUV. It is offered with 65 kWh and 75 kWh LFP battery packs, with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration available on top trims delivering around 390 bhp -- a significant step up in performance from the rest of the Tata.ev range -- and a claimed range of up to roughly 627 km (MIDC) on the larger pack. The Harrier.ev is also the first Tata.ev model to be positioned with Level 2 advanced driver-assistance features, reflecting its role as the brand's technology showcase alongside its size and power advantages. Competing directly against the Mahindra XEV 9e and other premium mid-size electric SUVs, the Harrier.ev targets buyers who want a genuinely large, family-oriented SUV with strong performance credentials and long range, rather than the more compact, value-focused models like the Nexon.ev or Punch.ev further down Tata's electric range. For buyers comparing premium electric SUVs in India, the Harrier.ev's combination of size, AWD performance and ADAS features make it one of the more feature-rich options from a domestic manufacturer.
