The VinFast VF MPV 7 is VinFast's third model in India and its first electric MPV in the country, launched in April 2026 as a family-oriented seven-seater built on the same underlying platform and powertrain as the commercial-fleet-focused "Limo Green" people-mover sold in other markets. Rather than a simple rebadge, VinFast repositioned the vehicle specifically for private Indian buyers -- upgraded interior materials, added convenience features like an air purifier and multiple USB-C ports, and an extended battery warranty -- while retaining the same 60.13kWh battery, 204PS front-mounted motor and 517km ARAI-claimed range as the fleet version. Priced from around Rs 24.49 lakh in a single, well-equipped variant, it targets buyers cross-shopping large petrol MPVs like the Toyota Innova Hycross and joins BYD's eMax 7 as one of the few genuine three-row electric MPVs sold in India, sitting alongside the VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs as VinFast continues to build out its Indian lineup from its Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu manufacturing plant.
