Ather Ather Konarc
3 Variants · Starting from ₹99,999
The Ather Konarc is Ather Energy's newest electric scooter family, launched in India on August 29, 2026 with a starting price of Rs 99,999 -- comfortably the most affordable scooter Ather has ever sold, well below the positioning of its existing 450 (performance) and Rizta (family-comfort) families. Built around a steel unibody chassis with metal body panels rather than plastic, the Konarc is offered in two trims: the S line, which launched first across three battery sizes (100km, 125km and 161km IDC range, with a fourth 200km pack announced but not yet priced), and a higher-specification Z line with a TFT touch-screen dashboard and a higher top speed, announced alongside the S line but not yet priced at launch. Both trims use Ather's fifth-generation 'Bedrock' battery pack and share core technology like the AeBS (Advanced Electronic Braking System), MagicKey keyless ignition, and Google Maps Platform-based vehicle tracking, while differing on dashboard, top speed and price. As with the rest of Ather's lineup, Konarc owners have access to the Ather Grid fast-charging network as a backstop beyond home charging. Ather, founded in 2013 by Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain and listed on the NSE and BSE since May 2025, has built its brand on a premium, software-driven approach to EVs; the Konarc marks a deliberate move to broaden that appeal toward budget-conscious, first-time EV buyers rather than the enthusiast or family-comfort riders the 450 and Rizta families target. For anyone comparing electric scooters in India's sub-Rs 1.5 lakh segment, the Konarc gives Ather a genuine entry-level contender for the first time, backed by the same charging network and after-sales approach as its pricier siblings.
